THE Google Home is an application to control Google Home and Google Chromecast devices. 

With the new update, the app also allows you to control compatible devices from different brands.

With it, you can perform different actions to operate your TV, such as: turning it on, off, increasing or decreasing the volume, controlling playback, changing channels, etc.

How to use the application?

To use the application, you must have the device's original application installed and configured on your cell phone. 

Those from Samsung TVs, for example, are the Smart Things, while LG's is the LG ThinQ.

After making sure you already have the native app for your TV, download the app Google Home.

Then configure the application by following the steps described below:

1. Open the app;
2. Click the + icon to add a new device;
3. Tap on configure device;
4. Choose the “Compatible with Google” option on the next screen;
5. Tap the magnifying glass and enter the name of the supported native device, for example, LG ThinQ.
6. Search for the service that matches yours and click;
7. Link accounts and authorize Google.

From this configuration, the application will appear in the Google Home list, so you can use it to control your TV.
