With the arrival of Shein in Brazilian territory, a report prepared by BTG Pactual was issued stating that the company had a turnover of R$1.4 billion here in 2022 alone, which was a growth of R$3.00 billion compared to 2021, even approaching the amounts collected by Renner, which is the leader in this sector in Brazil.

What are Shein points?

Points are like a reward system to encourage customers to make more purchases in the app. Many companies do this very often, especially those who want to encourage the use of the app, which is what happens with Mercado Livre and Aliexpress.

The more points you accumulate on the platform, the more discounts you can have on a future purchase, so the more you buy, the more points you will have and the more discounts you will have in the future.

How do Shein points work?

Each point you earn is equivalent to US$0.01 off, so when you manage to collect 100 points you are guaranteed a discount of 1 dollar, which is equivalent to almost R$5.00 off your purchase.

The points are cumulative, but it is important to remember that you can only use the points to deduct up to 70% from the total purchase amount, so you must pay at least 30%, but you can save whatever is left for your next purchase.

How to earn Shein points?

Now comes the most interesting part, which is knowing how to earn these points. One very interesting thing is that now it is possible to earn them in different ways and not just by buying.

Points can be acquired through the most common way, which is by placing an order, but they can also be acquired through comments and reviews of the items you have purchased, because this is a policy that Shein values very much, which is for customers to be able to read product reviews before making a purchase.

It is also possible to earn points by checking in daily, participating in raffles and games within the app and also through surveys that the app conducts with the customer.

However, for each of these things there is a daily limit, such as:

• Up to 500 daily points for events;

• Up to 200 daily points for surveys;

• Up to 100 daily points per check-in;

• Up to 2000 points daily for comments.

The only thing that doesn't have a daily limit are the points earned by placing an order.

Points have an expiration date and can change from one point to another. Some points are valid for 7 days while others can last up to 3 months before expiring, so it's important to always keep an eye on the expiration date of your points so you don't miss out on the incredible discounts the store offers.
