What is the Star Wars Universe about?

The Star Wars universe is a fictional galaxy set in the distant past, with elements of space, advanced technology, mystical forces and a wide range of characters.

What is the Ahsoka series about?

The new series is named after the character Ahsoka Tano who was introduced in the animated film “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and fans of the universe loved her, as she showed herself to be a character full of determination and sarcasm.

With this in mind, the producers thought about expanding the warrior's story into a live action format and having the possibility of exploring the character and her galaxy even further.

The series is also presented as a spin-off of “The Mandalorian” and follows the events after the fall of the empire and the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka and her pursuit of the great Imperial Admiral and other threats that are surrounding the galaxy.

What is the cast of Ahsoka?

The series' cast is made up of several well-known names and some newcomers.

Rosario Dawson plays the protagonist and she is already an actress known for her work in MIB and Sin City. Another strong name in the cast is Mary Elizabeth Winstead who is known for her work in Final Destination 3, Sky High: School for Heroes and Cloverfield. 

Other names in the cast include Ray Stevenson (Thor and RRR), Ivanna Sakno (Pacific Rim and Spy on Me), Hayden Christensen known for playing Darth Vader in the Star Wars franchise films and Natasha Liu Bordizzo (The Voyers and Tiger).

The first two episodes of the series were released today (22) on Disney Plus and the next episodes will be released weekly until the final episode which will be on October 4th.

Does the series already have a second season confirmed?

Many people already like to start watching series that they know have been renewed for the next season so they don't suffer with any of them being canceled, right?

However, the series has not yet been renewed for a second season, but that is no reason not to watch the series, as it is being one of the biggest successes in the Star Wars universe within streaming.

The writers' and actors' strike that is currently happening in the United States may be one of the things that is preventing studios from announcing renewals, as no actor or actress can sign a contract during this strike period.

Some portals reported that the studios are already in negotiations with the unions to reach an agreement and be able to finalize this serious matter and probably announce projects for the coming months.

An insider named Daniel Ritchman said on his Patreon account that the series was already greenlit for two seasons before the premiere and the strike even began, but this has not yet been confirmed by the studio.

The series “The Mandalorian”, for example, is already heading into its fourth season and both have had similar success, so the next season could be announced in the coming weeks.
