What amounts are paid through Renda Cidadã Goiás?

The amounts paid by the Renda Cidadã Goiás program vary according to the target audience, as there are 3 benefits paid through the program, which are:

I. Basic Benefit: R$ 100.00 paid monthly to families benefiting from the program;

II. Variable Education Benefit: R$ 10.00 additional per dependent aged between 6 and 17, enrolled and with adequate attendance at school (limited to up to 4 dependents or R$ 120.00);

III. Variable Health Benefit: R$ 40.00 paid monthly per family with members diagnosed with hemophilia, epilepsy, chronic kidney disease, HIV, cystic fibrosis, sickle cell anemia, high blood pressure, diabetes, tuberculosis or malignant neoplasia, pregnant women and mothers who are breastfeeding, up to 6 months after giving birth.

Thus, the amounts paid by Renda Cidadã Goiás can reach up to R$260.00 per month, depending on the requirements that the family meets for each of the benefits.

Requirements to participate: find out if you are entitled to the benefit

• Members of the family group: The other members of the group cannot be beneficiaries of another social income transfer program.
• Medical Report: To receive the health benefit, you must present a medical report proving your condition when registering for the program.
• Registration and attendance: The program offers professional training courses to beneficiaries, so representatives and members must present a certificate of attendance to ensure maintenance of the benefit.
• Revaluation: Families in Group I must participate in the socioeconomic reassessment 24 months after the benefit is granted, in order to guarantee the continuity of the right to participate in the program.

Are Bolsa Família beneficiaries entitled to this program?

A very common question among applicants for the Renda Cidadã Goiás program is regarding the right for Bolsa Família beneficiaries.

After all, can Bolsa Família beneficiaries also receive Renda Cidadã Goiás? 

And, as we saw in the requirements, participation by beneficiaries of other income transfer programs, whether municipal, state or federal, is prohibited.
