Applying for Housing Aid from the City of Salvador is very simple, as the process is carried out by the Municipal Secretariat for Social Promotion and Combating Poverty (SEMPRE).

Therefore, if you wish to become a beneficiary, simply seek assistance from SEMPRE to make the inclusion request.

However, to do this you must first register with the Single Registry, as this is one of the program's requirements.

To register, contact the city hall to schedule an appointment at the Social Assistance Center in your region.

Once this is done, on the scheduled date, go to the indicated address with your family's documents to complete the registration.

It is worth mentioning that, after the request, the analysis of the granting of Housing Aid may take a few days, but do not worry, as you will be informed through your contact methods about the result of the request.

How are the amounts paid?

As previously explained, the Salvador City Hall Housing Aid is expected to be paid for up to 3 months (90 days).

Then, after approval of the request to include the family in the list of beneficiaries, payment will be made according to a payment schedule.

But, in general, the schedule works as follows: installment paid in the last 10 days of each month, on a day determined by the calendar.

To receive the amounts, the family must go to a Caixa Econômica branch, which is the bank responsible for payments.

In this case, the beneficiary has the right to choose between receiving the aid directly at the cash register, or by depositing it into Social Savings, at Caixa TEM.
